Calibration of Bourdon pressure gauge by high presure generator bench using hydraulic mineral oil
Main Article Content
The relative positive pressure calibration of a Bourdon analog pressure gauge, with an accuracy class of 1,5 % of the total scale, was used by direct comparison using a digital pressure gauge with an accuracy class of 0,1 % of the total of the scale, as a generator was used a pressure bench with a range of 0 psi to 36 000 psi, the fluid used for the process was hydraulic mineral oil. To guarantee the stability of the environmental conditions, this process was developed in the facilities of the metrology laboratory Calibration Service S. A. S. - magnitude of pressure. It was evidenced that the maximum error obtained in the calibration process was 690 kPa ± 555 kPa, (100 psi ± 81 psi), according to the manufacturer's specifications the equipment has a maximum permissible error of ± 1,5 % of the range Total of the ibc corresponding to 3102,64065 kPa (450 psi), so it is concluded that the instrument under calibration (ibc) is within parameters.
