This article analyzes the knowledge management in organizations and the impact of staff turnover on them, considering that knowledge is mainly oriented towards the collection and transfer of information by collaborators, in order to apply it in decision making, problem solving and continuous improvement of organizational processes. The high rates of staff turnover in an organization focused on knowledge management can facilitate private information leaking and decompensation of information in the areas involved. This work describes different personnel motivation strategies as a way to keep employee turnover rates low and strengthen the intellectual capital of companies.
