This paper analyses Israel Kirzner’s view of the entrepreneur, to whom he atributes the capacity to stay alert to variation and market conditions, besides it’s his duty to identify and exploit the profit opportunities as a result of lucrative exchanges. For this reason, a revision of the literature is made in order to understand the main factors and characteristics involved in classifying entrepreneurs between individuals or colectives, likewise, is determined the role of the entrepreneur in the economical growths of the nations. Therefore, it has been made a case study of a Colombian gastronomic production company, this research was focused analyzing cualitative data obtained by an observation methodology based on interviews. The main conclusion is that organizations have both, individual and colective entrepreneurs that are needed for the company’s growth and they have habilities of entrepreneurship impartially of their job.
