The article attempts to provide a relection on the place of art and on what characteristics it contains in relations to sensitivity and in areas to strengthen life as an exercise of power within society. Based on this conceptual approach, curatorial decisions were made in order to create the art exhibit "Poetics of Everyday Life, Aesthetics of Life." The art exhibit took place at the Visual Arts Museum of Jorge Tadeo Lozano University and several conceptual topics were approached, along with a selection of artwork and cultural practices. The document attempts to describe how those decisions were made.
