The sons of Zoraida Muñoz and sisters, Clara Inés and Beatriz Méndez Piñeros, were assassinated by the Colombian National Army in the context of the case known as “False positives”. The testimonies of these women gave an account of the metaphysical manifestations of their sons after their disappearance and death. Through concepts such as dense description, this text offers an interpretation about the meanings that would give rise to such mentions. Therefore, the analysis is based on issues that run through Colombian popular culture, from which the metaphysical manifestations of the murdered function as a way of dealing with the loss by their loved ones.
